my name is ji-seong lee and about jw life, it has been almost 11 years after baptism.. but researching about jw bad behavior, it was a real shock (including child abuse by elders).

but i think just keeping jw lifestyle is more comfortable than stopping it, because of my family.... i have mom, father, and one older sister, and my father was an elder (not now) and my sister is regular pioneer.. so it is just a challenge to quit my religion.. because i just love to make friends throughout the world, (nomatter what religion backgrond they have) i post this text and in the end of this you will find the kakaotalk id of me!!.

Need advice: Intimacy with my wife almost non existint because she considers me an apostate

you know, we have been married for ~27 years....most of which we had nothing to do with the piece of shite cult.

up till the begining of 2014 was when i woke up.

I went through the same issue when I woke up. We had already been going through a funk in the bedroom department prior to my awakening, but once she made up her mind that I was an apostate, there went any and all intimacy. There was even shunning from her at home. We went through a separation spell but have eventually reconciled.

I guess the big thing that "broke the ice" is when she no longer said that she views me as an apostate, but as an unbelieving husband. It was a painful process to get to that point, a process that included marriage counseling at her request. We finally addressed years of unsaid business. I had to reaffirm her that I wasn't a threat to her spirituality. If that is what she wanted to do, continue being a JW, then I would accept her for that, just as she would have to accept me as "no longer a JW." I even had to admit to her that I was the one who changed, not her.

But I feel your pain. It's not a good place to be at in a marriage. It almost led me to cheat on my wife. And thats the difficult part. I know it goes both ways. but I don't think JW women realize that by withholding in that department, it's only putting her marriage in jeopardy. And honestly, who wants to have "its my marital due" sex? That's no fun at all.

i'm sick of.... ...having an elder i barely know invite himself over to my house, and bring another asshole elder with him, you know, to "see how i'm doing" f-ck them.

...having same elder with all insincerity approach me at the beeting and before inviting himself over, ask, "how are you doing?

" then when i say everything is great, go ahead and invite them selves over anyway.

You're damned if you do, damned if you don't. Fade, DF, or DA, its a roll of the dice no matter what. The risk of losing friends and family is ALWAYS there when you aren't an active no-blood card carrying cult member. We all have our preferences as to how to leave. I prefer to remove the bandaid off as quick as possible, that goes literally also. the only thing you are guaranteed, with 2 of the 3 choices, DA and DF, is that the JWs will no longer f*ck with you and will leave you alone, forever. To me, thats worth it's weight in gold.

Just my opinions. Peace, ... in the middle east.
